The ORION working list
Members report what fails, what changed, and what the API actually accepts. The association keeps one list and takes it to the Commercial Recordings Division, so each office does not have to sit on a 15 minute hold to learn what the office down the street learned yesterday.
A listing that means something
The member directory lists firms that have agreed to a published code of ethics and to the best practices recommendations the state has known since 2008. Clients and counsel use it to tell a professional office from a mailbox.
Advance notice from Carson City
Fee changes, filing changes, and bills on who may serve as a registered agent reach members before the session moves. The association has been in that room since 2003.
Who qualifies
- A commercial registered agent registered with the Nevada Secretary of State under NRS Chapter 77.
- At least 50 Nevada commercial filings in good standing.
- Agreement to the association's code of ethics and best practices recommendations.
- Dues of $200 a year, invoiced after the board accepts the application.
