The Nevada Secretary of State’s Office launched the ORION Business Portal on Monday, September 14, 2026, and deactivated SilverFlume as part of the transition. Both systems were down from 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 9 until ORION came back at 5:00 am on the 14th.
What the state has said applies to every registered agent office:
- Your SilverFlume username and password work in ORION. Historical data was migrated.
- Only the new forms are accepted. Forms previously used in SilverFlume are rejected after launch. The new library is linked from the ORION information page.
- Bulk filing runs through an API. Twenty-six filing types can be submitted as XML or JSON. If your office files at volume, this is the integration to build or buy.
- Phase 2 moves business licensing, marks and notary into ORION and completes the retirement of SilverFlume.
- Expect hold times. The office is reporting 12 to 15 minute waits on its customer service line and asks for email where possible.
The association is collecting what members hit in the first weeks: forms that fail, API questions, migration gaps. Send them through the contact form and we will bring them to the Commercial Recordings Division together.
