What the association is for has changed since 2003. Then, it was formed to fight a gross receipts tax, and won. In 2015 the same tax came back under a new name and passed. The history is on the about page. The work now is practical: get every member office through the ORION transition, keep the code of ethics that the state knows by name, and speak with one voice when the next session opens in Carson City.
